Sussex Hang Gliding school are now agents for the
stunning new WASP powered hang gliding harness. This harness allows
you to takeoff from flat fields. No more carry-ups, no more driving aimlessly
around following the wind. No more crowded sites. Just set it up and fly.
The electric start makes for easy re-starts in the air and no hassle on
the ground.
The harness features an articulated design which allows
the pilot full rotation onto the uprights for landing and makes take-offs
a dream. It is powered by the tried and tested Radne 120 Aero engine which
produces 45 kg of thrust. The fuel tank holds 4.5 litres and will give
you between one and a half and two hours of flight, depending on pilot
weight and throttle use. On a no lift, no wind day you could still do
a 40 mile XC and leave your buddies watching in awe.
Features of the Wasp Harness:
- Articulated front loading harness
- Choice of prop, carbon or wood
- Front mounted chute
- Mouth throttle
- Foot throttle (unique to the wasp)
- Choice of colours, red, yellow, silver, purple, blue

and more pilots are turning to the ease of powered hang gliding to give
them back the freedom of the skies. Free from the overcrowding of southern
sites and opening up a whole new way of flight.
