Paramotoring >> Go Explore...

We can now teach you to paramotor.

We follow the BMAA (British Microlight Aircraft Association) syllabus for paramotoring, which leads to the full, internationally recognised qualification for paramotoring. Our chief instructor is Dave Cordrey, who owns and operates Sky Hunters Limited the South's best paramotoring school.

His comprehensive course takes you through practical points such as motor handling, choosing a launch site and looking after your aircraft. Then its onto the theory lectures, covering the principles of how to fly safely, understanding airlaw and the simple art of navigation !

paramotoring

Firstly, a complete beginner must learn to fly a paraglider to club pilot standard. This can be done with us at Sussex Hang Gliding and Paragliding, learning takes about 10 days of tuition. Many elements of the paramotoring course will be undertaken at the same time, but you need to be able to control your wing with or without an engine. An existing paraglider pilot will be able to cover the paramotoring course in about 6 days. The length of the course will vary slightly to each individual. We can tailor it to suit your level of experience and previous knowledge.

Paramotoring greatly increases your flying opportunities and there are many different aspects to this form of flight. A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing. We aim to teach you to the highest standard of competence. This will naturally give you the highest rewards.

To start your paramotoring career, simply sign up for one of our paragliding courses, or ask for a paramotoring booking form.
